Wetland Birds of the East Coast of Australia.

Wetlands are such an important part of the natural environment, supporting habitat and feeding grounds for so many of our wildlife and birdlife. This page showcases some of the species of birdlife that I have photographed at various wetlands and waterways around the North Coast of NSW. With the increasing rains that we have seen from the La Nina events across 2021 and 2022, there has been a surplus of water available for the birdlife. It has been interesting and at times difficult to photograph with such wet conditions.
