A pair of Glossy Black Cockatoos perch together after a busy morning of feeding.
Glossy Black Cockatoos were sadly declared a Vulnerable Species in 2022 after growing concerns that their population was decreasing. Various species groups have been set up to monitor their numbers and look in to ways to better their chances of survival.
You can help by campaigning council to ensure feeding and nesting areas are protected from clearing and development.
