This image was captured when a large group of around 15 birds visited my backyard. One of the males was keeping an eye out as the other fed on grubs under the bark. This lone female kept checking me out.
The Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo is a much loved cockatoo found across the Eastern coastline from Queensland down to Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
